Administrative Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in HR with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures. The candidate would also spend time assisting in fundraising and awareness of HRM. The bulk of the role will involve employee recruitment and orientations, benefits administration, conflict resolution, with great opportunity for
developing and refining procedures and creating efficiencies. Supplemental duties include planning and administrative duties for fundraising events and speaking engagements as well as assisting with grant writing and reporting.

HR Responsibilities

  • Support departments in developing their teams by actively recruiting for open staff positions
  • Champion the onboarding process for staff by ensuring that it’s high-quality and up to date
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources, company wide policies and procedures
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion
  • Ensure compliance with national and local HR regulations, including conducting of investigations when needed and records retention
  • HR activities such as resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors

Development Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Development for logistics planning for speaking engagements and fundraising events
  • Participate in fundraising efforts and recordkeeping
  • Assist in grant writing and reporting for HRM ministries keeping detailed records of all grant activities

Required Skills and Responsibilities

  • Three or more years of experience in human resources or volunteer management
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning, administrative and organizational skills, time management efficiency and careful attention to detail
  • Experience in grant writing and reporting
  • Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Agreement with HRM statement of faith and vision and values

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related
    field
  • Experience working with non profit organizations
