Executive Director

Who we are

Every day at Hope Rescue Mission (HRM) we get to respond to the call of God to serve the poor and the broken in our community in an active and thoughtful way. God has not called us to simply fill the immediate physical needs of this group, though we do strive to do some of that, but He’s elevated our understanding of their situation and

commissioned us to be a tool in His hands to begin the transformational development in their lives. How has he elevated our understanding? Well, maybe elevat-ing is a better word, and it comes from our every-day interactions with this group as we serve them at our Drop-In-Center, Temporary Safe Outdoor Space, Women’s Center, Hope Thrift Boutique, Rescued Store or the Baling (recycling operation). You see, when you spend time rubbing shoulders with someone, and hearing their story, you gain an understanding and compassion that you wouldn’t have otherwise. That understanding and compassion are what has shaped the mission, methods, and direction of HRM, as well as shaped the hearts of our team over the past 5 years. By the grace of God and by His direction, we are able to serve this group in a thoughtful and effective way that causes lasting transformation for both those being served, and those serving.
