After serving most recently as the Director of Development, Jake is honored to lead Hope Rescue Mission into its next season as Executive Director. Jake’s journey to the Mission began in Washington, D.C., where he served as a police officer for seven years. She has previously served as an Outreach Pastor and Children’s Pastor, and is deeply committed to helping everyone feel seen, valued, and encouraged.”

Sherry Gunter

Director of Finance

“God brought me to the Mission under false pretenses :o).

I volunteered to be a fill-in bookkeeper but left after my first day with a job offer.

My background in banking and church administration provided a unique set of skills that He must have wanted on board. I am the longest standing staff member, as I started in April of 2012. Getting to see this amazing staff faithfully serving our community and those who come to us for help is a humbling experience that I am so grateful for!”

JAZMYN MAIRE

DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S CENTER

Jazmyn serves as the Director of the Women & Children’s Center at Hope Rescue Mission. She’s been with the organization for nearly five years, starting as a live-in Resident Assistant, then leading the boutique and directing the mission’s enterprises before stepping into her current role.

Born and raised in Missoula, Jazmyn’s heart is deeply rooted in this community. Her passion for ministry and mentoring took root during her seven years with Youth for Christ, where she walked closely with young people through seasons of challenge and growth.

At Hope Rescue Mission, Jazmyn is honored to support women overcoming addiction and stepping into new life. She brings compassion, leadership, and has a deep desire to be part of the healing process for those walking through addiction, brokenness, and hardship, helping others encounter the healing love of Jesus and experience lasting transformation.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Jazmyn paragliding, hiking, traveling, or chasing her next adventure. She counts it an honor to be part of the life-changing journey of the women and families served at the mission.

NATHAN DAGGETT

DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH

Nathan spent his early life in Dallas, TX, and moved to Missoula in 2010. After rejecting his family’s faith, and looking for what the world had to offer, the Lord saved his life and his heart after an overdose in 2019. The trajectory of his life changed, Nathan moved to work at Streets Ministries in Memphis, TN, preaching the Gospel to inner city youth, and studying at Liberty University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Apologetics and Theology in 2023.

After moving back to Missoula, Nathan felt prompted by the Lord through Isaiah 58 to work with the homeless and under-resourced in his community, working at the Poverello Center, Aware, and finally, Hope Rescue Mission, where he became a Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist. Nathan’s had experience working at several of Hope’s outreach programs, and became the Director of Outreach in 2025.

Careers @ HRM

We are called to be witnesses of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. This work is not about us — not our reputation, our church, or our organization. It is about Him and the people He loves. When we serve in His way and for His glory, a faithful reputation will follow — not for ourselves, but for Christ to be seen and known. We are not the saviors. We are witnesses to The Savior.

This is where it begins. Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). He entered our world. He stepped into our reality. The incarnation is not only one of the most profound truths of the Gospel — it is our model for ministry.

Just as Christ came near to us, we are called to go and come near to others — to step into their world as they are, where they are. Not to control or coerce, but to faithfully bear witness by being present. The power of our witness is found in our “with-ness” — walking alongside, offering hope, and reflecting Christ through relationship.
